Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

Just ordered my last knife purchase of 2018:
A Rough Rider RR1569 Moose with carbon steel blades. :)

Allegedly it will arrive on or between the 11th and 14th of this month.
 
Just pulled the trigger on "Combined slip joint folding knife American buffalo and deer stag with plaited brass cord" by Spanish maker @ArtesaniaHerreros
@RayseM got one of his knives, another model, last month and raved about it.
Mine will vary a bit, I requested a lanyard hole, and instead of brass cord, mine has copper.
Really looking forward!

I splurged. It is soon my birthday and christmas is coming. And I have ruined my other favourite stag folder (Otter) + wanted more lockbacks.

This week I received the Micarta version of the 82. I still need to flush it with WD40 and then mineral oil. It is a very sweet knife and I like the blade combinations on it; you should be very pleased. I am kinda regretting not getting the Copperhead version though - those are really nice looking.
 
I've got an old Remington RS3333 Boy Scout knife on order. I took a chance on an auction with not-so-great pictures, and got it for a very reasonably price, so it's a low risk/ possible high reward kind of deal. But I guess I'll see on Thursday whether I tossed some money out the window. My fingers are crossed.

Frankly, 2018 ended up my most expensive year of GEC obsession to date. :eek::oops::rolleyes:

Older patterns (#56, #77, #46, #15 clip, TC Barlow's, #14 SFO's, #85) and the new #44 Gunstock really punished the plastic! :mad:o_O

My last knife for 2018 will either arrive just before or just after Christmas. :D

I’m pretty anxiously awaiting a grinling whittler beaver tail user that I got for a decent price on the auction site. I always use mine so it’s nice to not feel bad about taking the mint off.
