That ironwood and the whole knife is gorgeous!I'm a big Tom Krein fan. I couldn't pass this up. Mini bushcrafter, 6.25" oal, A-2 with ironwood burl and a leather sheath with fire steel.
On order from the Buck Custom Shop: 110 with Elk covers, serrated blade and finger grooves.

That's a smart looking Buck you've got there. I've gotten a hair's breadth away to a custom 501 several times only to get pulled away by another knife at the last minute. I'm confident it'll happen eventually.

Thanks Tom. He was very happy when I handed him the Kabar. Turns out the photos the seller posted didn’t do the knife justice. All I did was clean it with 3 in 1 and mineral oil several times. I was talking with Vince (VCM Custom Knives) yesterday and now I've got a small Charlie Bell Trapper headed my way. Vince is simply the best knife purveyor to do business with!
