Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

This Otter Sable 05. Is this a leverlock or what would you call it?

Plus Manly Peak lockback. Since its two hand opening, no clip it might go for modern trad?

I've got one of the knifeswapper knifeswapper Maserin Plow Sodbuster knives with Bocote Wood covers on order and we had a dusting (2" to 3") of snow last night - had to shovel a place in the yard for our Doxie to do her business

So there's no telling how things will go over the next few weeks. Wonder if D2 will rust in the rain and snow.

Oh, I'm going to put a bail on it to test the tubeless thong hole feature and at the same time, make the knife look silly.

Is it going on the shed roof, Ed?;)

Quoting a bit out of context, but that never really got in your way before
What I said was that "in my opinion a bail looked silly on a sodbuster". But then again, why you would buy a sodbuster with "silly torx screws" is beyond me....

It's beyond me too Mike but I like your efforts with these Maserin and Lyon Steel knives and thought I might have some fun with one of them but most of all I like the inserts you include in your packages and a question you ask on your homepage.

I saw the elk being whittled, like it a lot. Ordered me a Boker Congress earlier in the week to do some whittling myself. Don't know what I'll attempt.

So much for my New Year's Resolution of not buying any more knives until I sell some (that was actually blown a few posts earlier in this thread). I couldn't help myself. A Buck 102 Bone Woodsman and a Buck 105 Bone Pathfinder (listed separately). Oh yeah, and a Buck 331 Yellow Delrin.

My 1st knife of 2019 is officially on the bench. Yeah my resolution as for Vaporstang Vaporstang has failed me :( :D

And this is all you get today. Photos when in hand. I'm wicked 'cited.

From the Traditional Knife Haiku thread:

I dream a new knife.
Custom maker, la de da.
Classic Old Timey,

favored and cherished,
with traditional details,
for working and play.

Carbon steel slippy
creates smiles as it slices,
sharpening with ease.

Still just a concept,
though be soon on the workbench
for knife maker’s art.

Until then I wait.
A haiku teaser is all
I can offer you.
;)
