Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

Brisa Trapper 115 with green G 10 handle. I wanted to try an allround bushcraft/camp knife with full flat grind. This was available and does not cost too much, allthough not cheap either. Sandvik 12C27 steel. if I like it I might change some of my preferences, I have been a scandi grind fan for a long time without really thinking about it. Scandi is good, but has limitations also.

Well, postman brought some stuff last night so I guess it's going in a different thread ha ha. Waiting on what I think is an unusual Moore Maker folder. Should be here this week, we'll see. Also waiting on a couple of items from the Going to the Dogs sale. Kentucky Bluegrass Case Trapper that's going to my daughter for Christmas, and a German-made Browning Canoe that Kim really liked.

Well, I got tired of seeing all the Case Barlow’s with sawcut bone so I ended up ordering one from Collectorknives. I also took a gamble on a Camillus USA engineers/Scout knife. I hope it’s truly as good as the pictures look.

A GEC dealer just received a small batch of #93 Rams foot knives. These must be leftovers from Rendezvous 2019. I borrowed money from mother and jumped in the truck to the bank. Pay-pal to the rescue. Both knives are gone now. I ordered the natural canvas micarta #93 Tidioute Rams Foot at the lowest original price. I will pop my canvas #93 knife with navy blue leather dye. What a cool surprise buy this turned out to be. I scored the #29 Bloodwood earlier this week too. I have a #92 camel bone on pre-order. I hope it comes in dark blue. (Well my SFO #93 camel bone came in light blue with a dark blue streak down the center. I really love it. 11/17/2019)

I just bought a decent condition Camillus #27 electrician off eBay for $20.
I've had the itch for an electricians knife lately, and while I have a Klein I found at a flea market it's pretty rough and barely gets carried because of it.

Looking on eBay the Camillus TL-29 pattern is very abundant and ranges in price and condition from $9 shipped for a worn out or just slightly rough examples up to $50 for mint examples though I think $50 is high even then.
I was really really tempted by a very nice mint example with a Channellock blade etch, but while $30 seems reasonable I'd probably not carry it for fear of messing up the etch so I passed.

The rare nickel/blue Buck 419 folding Kalinga.

I have a small collection of 419s, so I couldn't resist ordering it.

I hope it's a wise investment.

I'm still waiting for my Bocote wood scale lambfoot from Michael May in Sheffield. I was told it would be about a 4 week wait, and it's been almost 4 weeks now... I hope the quality is what I expect it to be....
