Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

I rarely post in this thread, preferring to wait for the knife to arrive, but I am very excited about this one. I finally took the plunge and bought a puukko. Traditional rhombic grind, fabulous steel, wood and execution, and a totally new experience for me. Check it out:

Nice puukko
I've been waiting for an appropriate time to post this. A very interesting video of a traditional puukko build.

I have a smaller (3.25" closed) rosewood lammy coming from A. Wright. Not sure its even been made at this point because the salesman didn't have any outstanding examples in stock at the time of ordering. Yes, I asked for a nice one! :)

I've got one of the Case vault Barlows coming my way... the two-blade Old Red Bone.
I hope it's as nice as they look in the pictures/videos.

Really wanted to throw some support Mike's (@knifeswapper) way and was primed up this morning to order a Best Man but thought I'd browse a little first.

That's how I came across a beautiful blue Case Teardrop and just had to have it. Ordered.

Not as much as the Best Man but that's just pushed out a little is all.

Very excited!

Out for delivery. Can help but watch the clock for quitin' time!

A Churchill in micarta. Should have bought one long ago, but then I didn’t understand which Great Eastern Cutlery knives would suit me best.

Got an Anza Dunefield on order from a vendor with kind of a dodgy reputation, at a price that is almost too good to be true. What could possibly go wrong?

Why that knife? I have no use for it, or for any knife that big, but I have always liked it, except that it cost more than I really want to spend on a knife. Then I saw the price, low enough to send up a red flag, but also within my range. So with my eyes wide open, and Paypal covering my six (I hope), I gave it a shot.

UPDATE: The Anza arrived today, a little more than two months after I placed the order. During that time, the seller did not respond to any of my inquiries. I lodged a complaint with Paypal; still no word from the seller. With time running out on my complaint, I escalated my complaint to a claim. The same day, I got a tracking notice from USPS. I have no idea if my complaint prodded the seller or if he just operates on a more lackadaisical time frame than we expect these days.

The knife looks new (2018 manufacture) and seems to be genuine. I have a few other Anzas, and the quality and construction are consistent. I have never heard of anybody counterfeiting these knives, but the price was low enough at least to raise the possibility.

I like the knife. The handle is very comfortable. It has more heft than I am used to, but feels indestructable.

This is what happens when someone starts a new thread titled “Let’s see your....knife”
