Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

I was casually perusing the bay (maybe I should stop doing that?) and saw a schrade 61ot for dirt cheap. The blades are pretty much all there and it didn't look beat up so I bought it right quick. Total investment $11.41. I just can't say no when they're so cheap and in really good shape.

You’re killing me Paul:confused: Nice score:thumbsup:

Perfect for carry Paul! That's the way I like to buy used knives - in a condition with no worries about "preserving history" but all there - just clean to suit, oil the joints, work the edge on a stone, and carry away! OH

I finally caved and have an 82 Dixie stockman in elderberry on the way. I was dead set on a possum skinner, but changed my mind. I still miiiight grab a skinner in micarta as well....we'll see.

Just found a nice 1982 Schrade " demo knife " ( mil-k-818 ) on eBay for a decent price.
I tell ya no matter the make or age these are always worn out, overpriced, or both. I don't think I really knew Schrade made 'em, but I'll be glad to have it if the W&T is decent and I made it under the $30 limit I set myself which is always great.
That's one more checked off, but I just added a case 6233 small pen to the list before I checked this one off.
How can I ever get my list checked off if I keep adding to it o_O

I needed them like a hole in the head (hole in the head, maybe that's my problem?), anyways I picked up a couple more 34OT's on the cheap. Nothing special there but I thought the safety one was neat. It's also an older NY stamped one and I prefer those.

They didn't show the other blades in pictures on this one so maybe they're hiding something ugly. It may be a dud but I don't think so. It looks newer, probably made not too many years before bankruptcy.

I have ordered one of those Battleship Knives GEC #86s with the damascus blade, which I believe is made with steel from the ship (The USS Texas). I'm still getting up to speed fully on this particular knife. I just had to track one down after seeing another member here with one.
