Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

On that same note... I talked to my cousin yesterday and he told me it wasn't a Buck 301 that I cut myself with but an Old Timer 340t and that he still has it, lol. On the plus side... I now have a 1984 340t on the way.

Well, nearly cutting the end of your finger off as a kid has proven to be a good thing for memories! You’ve also added TWO very nice knives to your collection! Congratulations on two nice old knives. OH

Yesterday I ordered this vintage LF&C barehead jack for my Hardware Distributor collection. That’s a very small sub-collection I’ve added to at random over the last five or six years. Found a fellow with a nice collection of them and he picked through for me to find one that met my requirements. Should have it in hand by Friday or Saturday. OH

Since I discovered some unexpected extra funds in my bank account ...
Rough Rider large Stoneworx Stockman
Old Timer 858OT
Old Timer25OT 2 blade slipjoint folding hunter
4 of the 5 Rough Rider 'Riders of the Silver Screen' Moose I don't have. (Zorro can wait)

Think I'll mosey on over to Gun Broker now, and see if I can get a Traditions .50 caliber flintlock Kentucky rifle ... :)

I broke down and grabbed one off the 'bay... a Queen, winterbottom red bone "improved muskrat" knife. Almost 4" long closed, with clip and wharncliffe blades. Single spring, two blade opposite ends knife. I figured my possum skinner needed a "brother"... can't wait for it to land in the mailbox.

I liked my Gec #62 smooth white bone pocket carver so much I just ordered another but with Cocobolo covers. Figured I better not procrastinate since the pickings are getting slim. What a great knife !

I just ordered a non-locking blade MAM sheepsfoot friction folder. (the "large" 3 7/8 inch closed version, complete with a leather fob) I decided I "need" a "large" sheepsfoot in the accumulation.
Perhaps I'll re-profile the blade so I can join the Guardians of the Lambsfoot?

Well as of this evening it’s official. Jim Dunlap has me on his list. He has agreed to make me a 3.5 inch stockman. This will be my first custom and I am ecstatic!
That is the exact knife I would like for my next custom. Square or round bolsters?

That's going to be a beaut! Can't wait to see photos when you get it.
