Day after New Years I struck a deal with Hellize to make this knife for me. He finished a couple weeks ago and its somewhere in route.

Well as of this evening it’s official. Jim Dunlap has me on his list. He has agreed to make me a 3.5 inch stockman. This will be my first custom and I am ecstatic! It will be just like the 4 inch here only in the 3.5 range. All the better to be a never without knife.View attachment 1337624
I too love the square bolsters and if I can get him to slant them I’ll be over the moon! I’ve asked to stick with that amazing westing house Micarta.That Dunlap knife is a beauty plus it just looks solidly built as well. I know rounded bolsters may be more pocket friendly but personally I love the looks of squared bolsters.Have your picked out covers for yours?
