Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

Just before the global pandemic started, I purchased a fire-steel, and a few leather items, from a young Polish maker, at Jorvik Viking Festival. Jacek Robotka, is based in Leeds, and forges historic knives and swords. He works with his wife, and they have a particular interest in Viking era knives.

I ordered the knife below about a year or so again, and when I eventually received it, I immediately ordered one of his small seax, which I'm hoping to get before too long

Ooh...nice sticker. Looks sharp. 😳

This has been my grail knife for a couple years. I got lucky and snagged it before anybody else did. As a Buck collector, there is no other Buck knife that I want more than this one, regardless of the model. I'm pretty excited.

January 2020 Buck of the Month. S35VN Drop Point blade. Nickel Silver frame. Scalloped Cocobolo handles. 200 made.

I had one of these and really enjoyed it, but had to pass it along in a time of need. Now that I've moved a few knives (and one more on the way out of the stable) there is room to bring this model back (hopefully to stay).

Roland Lannier's "Why So Serious?" gentleman's knife. It is a long, elegant, liner locking folder with corian handles. It is the perfect Sunday or fine dining knife.
