I had to google what a cheroot was

The knife already came in (hooray for fast instate shipping!!) and I like it a lot. The F&F is among the best of my CSCs, good opening and closing snap, no blade play, everything centered, and a hair popping edge. A solid 4 on the pull scale. The linen micarta is a warm cream color. I'll take some pics this weekend.

Finally! Both of the knives I had on order arrived this week. A Case single-blade Wharncliffe Mini Trapper (pattern 6107W SS) and Mini Copperlock (pattern 61749L SS), both in the Second Cut Antique Bone scales. Really beautiful pair. I'll try to get a pic up tomorrow if I get some good sunlight tomorrow.

Been eye-balling the Outlaw Jacks for a while. Really was kind of hoping for an ebony offering. Finally could not stand looking at this copperhead bone any longer. Not one to collect serial numbered knives, but thats all I could find in this.

GEC 55's landed yesterday, but couldn't enjoy them till this morning. Had my pick of the litter (happened to be poking my head in on the site when they were all being added), quite happy with the coloration on the stag.

Well, I have a 15 boys jack with red bone scales coming from Mike at Collector Knives and a single blade 15 boys knife with ebony scales from another online dealer, in addition to the 48 single blade trapper I just bought. Then, hopefully this weekend, I'm going to put a deposit down on my big custom knife order. I also have to stroke a check for my rent, and will make my car insurance payment online tonight.

I can stand to live on bread and water for the next week . Maybe bread and beef stew, got a crock pot full for the fun weather tomorrow.
