Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

They're good slicers, simple, and lightweight. 👍

I finally got around to picking up a few a couple months ago, and have slowly begun putting them into my pocket carry rotation.
Yeah, my #7 has a blade a bit over 3", a comfortable handle, and weighs only a little over an ounce. On top of that, they're readily available, & I can replace the darn thing for $16.

So what is the verdict?
I like it well enough. Opens a bit hard, but should wear in. Good fit/finish, very sharp. I would say it is an acquired taste though, but I like it and am glad to see Buck get into this space a bit more with a US made option.

I got one. I like it enough as well. Good size and weight. Def sharp. I think it looks cool. Blade not centered but not rubbing. Prob add a lanyard

On route to me right now. A mammoth recover of a GEC 86 by David Valdivieso.

Here's what I've got on order...repair order, that is! I sent 3 Buck 110s in to Buck for repairs back in February. Today I received an email confirming my work order: 110BRS(1974-1980)-W/O SHEATH/BROKEN SPRING/RE-BLADE AND SPA TREATMENT 110BRS(1981-1986)-W/O SHEATH/BROKEN BLADE/RE-BLADE AND SPA TREATMENT 110BRS(1967-1972)-W/O SHEATH/BLADE DOESNT LOCK OPEN/REPAIR AND SPA ONLY. I specifically requested that they NOT reblade the 67-72 knowing that, if they did, I would loose the vintage tang stamp. Once I pay the bill ($26.95), they will do the work and ship my treasures back to me. I'm guessing 2-3 weeks. I'll post pics then. T-A
Update: My three BUCK 110s that I sent in for repair and were received by BUCK on February 14th are due to be shipped back to me in three days! I got anxious and finally called them today to get the status. So, almost 4 months for the repairs, but I don't care. I have plenty of other knives available in the mean time. I'll post pictures when they arrive. T-A

They arrived today, ahead of schedule. I sent in three 110s and got four back in the mail! Unfortunately, Buck declared my oldest 110 (of the three) unrepairable and sent me a brand new one, along with my broken one. The also sent me two bright and sparkling rebladed 110s that I had sent them. Unfortunately, I didn't take before photos, but here's what I got back:

One has no blemishes in the brass. That appears to be a brand new 2023 model. The other two are vintage handles with brand new 2023 blades. I'm a little disappointed that my 110 with the upside-down logo didn't get repaired, but receiving a brand new knife helped me through my disappointment. Overall, I'm very pleased. It was worth the nearly four month wait. Buck took good care of me! T-A
