Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

I was at my favorite bar last night, and they served me a gyro with a knife that wouldn't cut the flatbread. There was a suggestion of teeth on the side of it, but the actual edge was a 1/16" flat. Their steak knives are thin and whippy, so- next time I'll be ready.

It's a Victorinox folding serrated paring knife.

Man I messed up that drop badly, I didn't realize they'd lost reach knife individually, and then the listings weren't getting pulled immediately on checkout, so I hit some mines trying to check out with a listing that was already out of stock.
These things have a lot of landmines. The one that usually gets me is the box you have to check to indicate that you accept their terms.

I have found that if I hit the cart button instead of the PayPal checkout button, I don't have a prayer.

Back to the knife . . . I dunno why, but I really like Northwoods. And burlap is one of my favorite materials. So it was a win-win. I'm really looking forward to getting my grubby paws on it.

I wanted the burlap micarta and ended up with the red bone, which I like as well. Micarta may be my favorite material as well. Either way I will be carrying this and not sticking it away for safe keeping.

I tested a little beforehand and came to the same conclusion, it was faster to use the PayPal checkout.

They had so many individual items listed, though, that it was seemingly random luck if you were trying to check out with one that someone else was. I was slow because I stopped to actually skim the pages of postings instead of clicking a random one and immediately trying to check out, but that only delayed me by a few seconds. A few seconds was enough to put me out of the running for anything mammoth, and by the time I gave up, the others were all gone, as well.

I also really like the Northwoods, I wish they'd do some in CPM154.
