Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

i gotta say i went from maybe to yes way too quickly, but its rare to have a knife that connects with a favorite show especially a pattern ive been considering but here we go, "there's no time to explain Morty!"

Is that the George Washington model?
Looks like a great size.
I think it's just the Chogan hatchet, as distinct from some Chogan axes and tomahawks by the same guy. (And a Chogan adze.) 12" or 14" overall? I was looking at a few on special from a non-member dealer.

I wasn't planning on buying a knife this year. I just bought a (used) VIC Huntsman. Couldn't pass on the price. 🤨🙄

Seller's photo. (sorry it so tiny. ☹️)

I'll post a better pic in the "Newest Addition" thread when (if?) it gets to me. 😁👍
I been wanting a plain not "collectable" Huntsman (with package hook, since it can be used to secure/hold a jigsaw blade when needed.)

I have wanted one of the little Schrade LB1 Cubs for years but my knife want list is in my head and some knives I want get forgotten about.

The other day something reminded me of the little Uncle Henry LB1, and I just scored this one cheap on ebay.

I quite like my little lockbacks, these are the only little ones with a clip point blade.

… a little pricey for what they are, but how could I resist?

Ha, I have enabled another victim...

I think the equivalent price in South Africa is ~$22.00, but shipping is either not available or nearly $70.00 via 3rd party intermediary. So I don't feel so bad about the $8 upcharge. That said, they are definitely still peasant knives.

Well I got an envelope in the mail box today…..

EMPTY!!! 🤨🤬

Apparently lost or stolen in transit. I managed to catch up with the mailman before he left the neighborhood, and he said the top of the envelope was torn already when he got it - he folded it closed as best he could because the adhesive kept sticking to other items in his bag, but he didn’t look inside. He said all he felt was bubble wrap, and figured there was just a card or something inside - definitely not 2 knives. He seemed a little concerned, and said he had seen a couple of other similar incidents just recently 🙁.

I was relieved that nobody stole it out of my mailbox at least.

That is unacceptable. I hope you're able to successfully press your claim with usps.

Received the Huntsman I ordered (see post 8547, above) on Aug, 21. 😁👍
Very happy with it. It appears unused! 🤯😳😁👍
I moved the mini screwdriver, toothpick, tweezers, and red (now faded to pink) ball head pin from my 'Year Of The Ox' Huntsman, and added a Nite-Ize "S" hook to clip it to the 03:00/15:00 belt loop split ring I have on all my pants.

Pictures in "Newest Additions"; "What SAK/Multi Tool Are You Carrying?" and "What Traditional Knife Are You Totin" threads.
