Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

Szco 3.5" inch closed Barlow with stainless bladed (clip & pen/mini spear point), wood covers, and a lanyard hole.
Replacement for one that went AWOL a spell back.
Sorry, no pic until it arrives.

I "think" this will be my third. I gifted the first to a (now) former co-driver, back in 2012 or 13. No idea if he still has it, or where he resides. He had to retire from driving due to health ... he claimed diabeties, the last time I talked to him, about a year ago.

Well, maybe I'm an idiot, but maybe not.

I don't really need this, having just bought a smaller one, but there were three left in stock and it was otherwise unavailable for the foreseeable future.
And I can make variously lengthed handles for it! There, it was necessary.
And it rings in my English hedge-plashing blood. There, my logic is ineluctable as always.

I think it's Minichamp ver. 1 (1983-1994) but I am not sure. Was cheap and in good condition.
Tool set is Mini Champ. However, it does not have the retractable ballpoint pen (with blue ink.) and cap lifter with phillips screwdriver, like my Mini Champ has.
Shown with a Huntsman and Hercules. (sorry, best picture I have of it showing the pen.)

That's why I think it's the original one from 83-94 🤔 but I can be mistaken 😉
It probably is an early one.
I've seen replacement scales on the big auction site, complete with the pen slide, if you are considering upgrading to the pen.
Comes in handy "if"/when your primary ballpoint gives up ... presuming blue ink is acceptable, if at work. I have never seen refills with black ink. I also have a (no light) Signature my then and now late ☹️ boss gave me for Christmas, in 2001 (in a set, it came with a matching Huntsman) I looked for a black ink refill to no avail for years.

I'm still waiting on my Richlite 57 Whittler to arrive. It left Sulphur, OK on April 1st and stopped at Okie City, Indy, Evansville, Nashville and now currently sitting in Denver further away from it's destination than it originally started. Figured I'd let AI create a graphic of it's journey :)
