After a VERY long dry spell (last knife of any kind I bought was the Blade Forums Bunny Knife), I made an impulse order for three Case knives. I've always wanted a regular Trapper with a Wharncliffe secondary, and while I was at it, got a Mini Trapper with the same blade configuration. The third was a regular old Sod Buster, not a Jr. I have several of the Junior versions but always wanted a full-sized. Well, now I will have one. Standard black with the plow blade etch. It's a classic, it's what I wanted.

These are the catalog photos. I know Bonestag can be hit or miss, so hopefully I'll get some nice examples. Either way, they'll do fine cutting things:

This absolutely perfect piece from Grayson Jennings just got finished today. Wasn’t originally planned as a Christmas present to myself when I put my name on his books, but I certainly won’t tell Santa to send it back

This one will be a lifelong keeper and user. Can’t wait for it to get here!

My wife bought me a Schrade Smokey LB5. The new one so not US made but still that is a nice gesture.
It will be my first knife of this pattern and I wonder if it will replace my medium stockman / single blade trapper in my pocket.
