Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

Just ordered one of these off the Tennessee knife show tonight at a REAL good price. Can't wait!
Green canvas micarta and 7" A2 tool steel blade, with a very good leather sheath. Should make a great pig-sticker.

Wow that looks great! especially the elegant file work that isnt over bearing...when googling what maker name do I put? Thiers? :)

It's made by Chambriard and that one is the larger locking Trappeur model. These guys would probably be the best source in the US. They make some lovely slipjoint versions too. http://www.worldknives.com/manufacturers/chambriard-26.html

This site is the best I've found for the variety of regional European knives. I'd nail your wallet to a wild horse before looking though!

Being in the UK mine is coming from le source and hopefully will be with me today! I'll post a review:)

I have 4 carbon Opinels on the way and am about to order some Okapies. I think that I have regressed.

Yellow Buck 301.
Could be awesome.

Thanks to Charlie's Schrade thread I've got my first two on order. A little two blade Walden and a 70's 808. Also snagged a Case/Bose dogleg last night...finally :D

The Queen Senator and S&M Moose came in last week. I like the Queen a lot, very classy looking. Thin blades and they came sharp. The S&M is very nice too. I like the bone and how it feels in hand. My only complaint has to do with the blade grinds, especially on the narrow clip, but I'll have to fix those when I get a chance. Both knives share a single back spring.

Got my early Buck (Schrade) 301 stockman and sent off a bunch of stuff from trades and sales but didn't notice the certified mail notice until I got home. My Ken Erickson whittler will be waiting for me to pick up on Monday... soooo excited!

The 2 GECs I had rehandled with desert ironwood arrived this week. I finally got a chance to take a couple of quick pics. Also, I have a Schrade 293 trapper on the way.

Actually, it was a Case/Bose dogleg that was waiting for me at the PO. Ken Erickson whittler is still on its way. ...Also a couple production stockman.

Laguiole made by Arto, brass, rosewood and stainless steel (12C27) 8" open, 4-3/8" closed. Probably wouldn't have ordered one if it weren't for a recent thread on this forum.

Bret Dowell Slimline after seeing one here and a fixed from him as well. Also have a Charles May Bob White and a Dave Winston fixed coming soon too.

Add another one to the rapidly growing list: a very cool vintage cattle knife from Jason's collection ---yeah!!!! The people on this forum never cease to amaze me with their generosity!

Haven't picked up much lately until yesterday. I have a Schrade 8ot and 108ot, a Case large soddie and med. stockman and a Puma of uncertain vintage coming - hoping its an old one.
