That looks fantastic already (and it seems you did not order a "kit knife" after all ;)). Scruffuk described the handles well-- they're going to look alive in your hands. I can't wait to see this come together, and your pictures of it.

That is a hard one! Black blade this time, unfinished blade on the next one? Heh.

Very nice! The bone on that one is very attractive, and the blade selection looks quite useful. What size is it?

I also received a Schatt & Morgan Keystone shield knife from Mike this afternoon, so it rode in my pocket for the rest of the day. Only just now taking pictures, so I apologize for the lousy indoor lighting; I'll make some nicer ones in the daylight tomorrow.

Man-oh-man, am I sure tickled with this one! The bone, "brown wormgroove," looks really good in the sunlight, and I think the blade's big bayonet-style swedge is really classy. The shield is pinned, not glued. This kind of knife is right up my alley: a long, slim, single-blade, with a spear point.

This one is an excellent example of a "good one" from Queen. Fit & finish are top notch - no gaps along the spine, handle covers & shield are perfectly fitted, the blade grinds are symmetrical and even, the etch is perfect, blade is centered, not a hint of wiggle when locked open. Seriously, as close to perfect as I've ever had in a production pocket knife.

Looking at it from the pile side, it reminds me of a GEC#15 Boy's Knife that's going through a growth spurt. ;)

Thank you, Mike!

It measures 3 5/8" closed.

Nice choice on the S&M Shield Knife.

Kevin, I told you once. You better listen to me in the first place, instead of trying to resist before you surrender and tell me "you were right" :D
I don't have anything on order right now...yet I feel I will be soon

Waiting on a GEC 76 Outlaw Jack in Yellow Rose, non-serialized. Took some google-fu to find one, especially without the S/N. Pics to follow when it arrives.
