Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

Kevin, I told you once. You better listen to me in the first place, instead of trying to resist before you surrender and tell me "you were right" :D
I don't have anything on order right now...yet I feel I will be soon

Haha, I just saw this, Fausto :-p

The knife showed up today. Pretty rough even for an opinel. At first the blade would not open all the way it seems the ring was pinned too far forward. A few cell shots for the descriptions.

I took down the ring a bit and the back square its now nice and even and opens fully

A cell pic of it cleaned up from the rough profiling. It needs sharpening and maybe some treatment on the wood.

I like the one Sam gave me a lot more, but this one will be working with me regardless.

A lot of firsts coming in the mail for me. My first Rough Riders, my first yellow delrin, and (most importantly) my first CV in the form of:

RR Trapper in yellow
RR Moose in yellow
Case 47 stockman in yellow CV

Excited for all, but mostly the Case!

I have reached a spot that I haven't been in for quite some time. I don't have anything on order right now. Of course, that is always subject to change with all of you fine folks here showing what you've recently got, or have on order. My hope is that I can remain in this state for a bit as my wallet is very thin at this time.

Well, I didn't last long. I've got 2 cocobolo boy's knives on order and one of Mikes 85 SFOs with single blade and liner lock in ebony reserved (at least I think so).

Just ordered tonight: A.G. Russell Sunfish in brown Rucarta + optional leather pouch (don't really wanna pocket carry a 10oz knife :D).

I just shot a Schrade USA 108OT from the Bay... I couldn´t believe to get a Schrade OT here in Germany - even the US made ones.

I´m really looking forward getting this beautiful classic knife!

What an extraordinary result. Did you select each of its distinctives as listed in the specifications, or leave them up to Mr. Smith?

There isn't a thing I would change.... I could get lost a long time in those "blue mammoth ivory" covers. O, my.

I'll bet you can't wait to have this in your hands! Me, I can't wait to see your photographs of it in the days ahead.

Well done. :)

Pertinux,

Thank you!!

Yes I am really very impatient to receive it !

First, I asked for a Barlow with the Mammoth of color (it is ray which found this very beautiful blue mammoth), no decorations on the blade, the spring and the liners.
And three lines on the Bolsters and if it was possible to darken the blade

Ray has to decide to put only two lines on the Bolsters and to darken also the spring.

What I find perfect!

I 'm realy impatient to have in hand and to cut a good end of cheese with it !!! Hahahaha

You are really on a roll! Between your skill in picking them and Oeser's skill in making them, you have once again come up with something really special.

I doubt I'm alone in being excited to see these American makers finding an appreciative audience overseas. :)

Beautiful knives phacochère! I would be proud to own either, both a truly special!

I broke down and ordered an A.G. Russell reverse Congress Muskrat in maple burl. I've wanted a reverse Congress ever since I saw the Cattaraugus on his site but it was out of my price range. As I've taken an interest in Muskrats lately with a GEC #66 and a Schatt "improved" Muskrat, I was looking for something unique too. Plus I love the look of my Queen dogleg in maple.

If it is built in the same way as my other AGR's, I think I'm in for a treat. I was ordering something else for my son so I thought "what the heck". That statement has gotten me in a lot of trouble though :D

I've got an S&M heritage jack coming in, my first S&M.

Trying not to think about the GEC eurekas. Trying not buy the douk douk that's in my shopping cart.

Absolutely stunning handle material. I'm been wanting a custom knife lately, a custom slipjoint in particular, but I just can't justify paying several hundred for a single knife right now, as most custom makers seem to (rightfully so) charge. I'm going to have to keep my eyes open for the right knife/price and start putting my pennies away (well, nickels anyway, pennies phased out in Canada:) ).

As for what I've got on order, nothing yet. I was going to order an Eye Brand stockman but got sidetracked by a Case raindrop damascus stockman I might have to get instead, trying to make up my mind so my ordering is on hold for another day or two. But in a couple of days I'll have one stockman or another on order, and with it guaranteed I'm getting myself a Case yella Peanut. My first Case, first yella delrin, and first Peanut. Jackknife's tales inspired me on that one:)

I just ordered a Wenger Soldier 08 - until they won´t be available any longer - I have one from the 2nd hand market, but the previous owner removed the bottleopener/screwdriver which makes it not that much useful...

... and a firesteel (I lost mine somewhere)

Arghhh....tried so hard to stay strong and resist.....

Eureka Jack in green jigged bone on the way.
