Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

A custom order that I've been waiting more than three months for is arriving today. This is a knife I've dreamed about for a long, long time. I'm having a hard time focusing on anything else right now...

I've got two Antique Green Jigged Bone 72s, and a Gabon Ebony Clip TC Barlow on their way to me! I'm stoked.

Trand, I have ben eyeing the delrin version. Can you give a review?

Hi Wayne,

I just wrote a review and lost it as I must of timed out. I hope you don't mind the quick version... I didn't carry this one as much as I planned as a burnt stag GEC #48Jack arrived just after I sharpened it. This is my third Queen #51 Jack in D2 though, have on in BEM and Cocobolo (and a S&M version in 420HC). I do like the size at 3 1/2" and the mini trapper frame. The pen blade stock isn't thinner than the clip like they are on the GEC #48 jacks but not an issue. 4.5-5 pull on both blades, great snap opening and closing although a little weaker on the pen from half stop to closed. Some light shines through between the back springs and liners but there is absolutely no blade play. I did have to reprofile and sharpen both blades. No shield and the winterbottom jigging feels good in hand. I think it's a great knife for $35 plush shipping and D2. I can easily overlook the minor gripes I listed. If you must have a shield and can't stand delrin, well there is a BEM version still available too but its $15 more.

A Northwoods forest jack with smooth calico bone covers. It should be here this afternoon. I have been away from the traditional scene for a little while, but when I saw those knives they brought me back in a big way. I think it will carry well in the back pocket and complement my Sebenza quite well.

At last a fix of knife smack! Hopefully got a Queen Teardop on the way, really pleased, plus er, another unmentionable knife that has connexions to Onion:D:D

Happy Days:thumbup:

After posting up some past arrivals in the Boker thread I realized it was awhile since my last one so I couldn't resist. :D As I don't have a Boker canoe I thought I should fix that, as a result a really nice one is on the way.
I also spotted a Case humpback half whittler in another thread, the pattern really caught my eye so one of the Bradford Cutlery versions in goldenrod is also on order.

Not that I need any more knives!

A single blade Northfield #85 EO in African Blackwood :)

Been looking for an EO 85 for awhile and I'm really jazzed to see what the ABW is like, I've heard good reports on it. I'll post pics in a couple hours after I pick it up at the PO :)

I look forward to that, Elliott. Ken Coats is building me a special piece that should be done in a few weeks.
