Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

I've got one of Steve's new GEC #15 electricians knives on order, green micarta and a sheepsfoot blade. I was going to get either a Pemberton or a #25 Barlow, but that electricians knife just suddenly grabbed me.

After ordering and receiving my first Italian made Falcon brand knife, and my liking it's overall charm.... I am following up by now having ordered another Falcon knife. It will have a buffalo horn handle with a fish shape. I truly like the stag handled Falcon that I received recently, and since I am enjoying the diversity my collection has taken, this should only enhance that (or so I am hoping) ;-)

Yeerss,Yeerss...come to me my precious blood red jigged bone diamond edge 48. MUuuhaahhaaa...ahem.

Unexpected auction win (apologies if I was bidding against any of you) - a 3 blade Hartkopf in black/white buffalo horn. Along with the Forum knife, that will make two rat-tail bolstered knives. :)

Looks like a standard pattern with just a blade etch and engraved standard shield. Not a custom... but pretty little knife.

I've got a Fiddleback Hiking Buddy by Andy Roy on its way

Andy's convex ground this one from 3/32 stock, something he hasn't done too often. That combined with Osage orange covers makes it a "must have" for me!

Just ordered the Queen/Schatt & Morgan 'Dawn of a New Era' knife. Mother of Pearl and abalone inlaid handle, and limited to 100. These were made to mark the new ownership of this firm by the Daniel's family. I have been procrastinating about getting it, but if I snooze, I will lose.... and Queen is a favorite of mine :-)

I've got this guy on its way to me. Just won it last night, on the big auction site. Got it for about a quarter of what it should sell for, I'd say. :D
Made by Queen in 1999. D2 steel and red sawcut bone. Big monstah!
Projected to arrive on Tuesday. I cannot wait!

^ that sure looks sweet Alex! Can't wait to see your in hand shots of it

I am in the process of acquiring something pretty special myself, something simple yet exotic...horn handled and hand crafted in a far off land...with the help of a friend ;) :)

Very nice. Love to hear your thoughts after using it for a while.

I've got this 'Woodland Special' on the way. Probably my favorite Bark River design of all time, based on the fact that it's the one I still tend to carry most, and the first model of theirs I ever bought. I love it so much that when I saw this version in dark curly maple and red liners, I knew I "needed" another one...:D

That's a beauty too:)

I've come perilously close with the Woodland Special, looks like a compact yet comfortable and versatile knife. Very pretty with the Desert Ironwood too:)

Congrats on the nice knife specimen going your way, and on snatching it at a bargain :-)
