Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

I just traded for a Schrade 787 that looks to be a great knife and ordered a clip bladed Tidioute boy's knife with ebony handles, to replace the one I believe my mailman may have liberated from the fetters of my mail box.

Unexpected auction win (apologies if I was bidding against any of you) - a 3 blade Hartkopf in black/white buffalo horn. Along with the Forum knife, that will make two rat-tail bolstered knives. :)

That's a nice looking knife :-)

Bruce Barnett J.S.(soon to be ABS Master Smith) is building me a wharncliffe slipjoint with wood handles and a complex mosaic starburst damscus pattern, for the blade. Should be done by June.....

Ouch, that stings. Same thing happened to me, not long ago. Box was neatly sliced open, and the contents were removed. Lesson learned: spring for insurance. Doesn't always help, as in the case of a rare one or an oldie, but it lessens the burn a little.
Hope you have better luck this time!

My was marked as "delivered" no box no knife, I told his supervisor to tell him to oil the joints and blade every once and a while and the knife would last him a lifetime.

Just ordered a AG Russell single blade clip point sowbelly in the brown rucarta. I've been hearing nothing but good about these and for $60, how could I go wrong! It's the bottom in the pic!
