Whatcha got on order ?

3 of the RYOBI premium belt clips for my one+ HP tools, I've had them for probably a year at this point and the clips have been unavailable till now.
I thought I ordered a couple back when I got the tools, but that turned out to be one of those phoney pop up scam sites.
Thankfully I learned my lesson and was only out $13 I think.

I ordered a 6' Bass pro microlight spinning rod.
I originally wanted the eagle claw featherlight ( same rod ) because the handles are slightly nicer, but had trouble finding the 6' from a trusted vendor.

I didn't really look that hard though, because it's so much easier to just select the length option from BPS and not have to bother with different model numbers.

For that much money, it might be worth it.
I wouldn't be surprised if they did get it and called the police thinking there was something illegal going on.
So, FedEx ended up eating the cost and paying for a whole new shipment of 9mm, which came today.

However, I found the guys home number online, contacted him, he did have my package. He had not opened it, and had been trying to get FedEx to come get it. I arranged to meet him at his place. Turns out he has guns himself, so I gave him a box of 50 for his trouble. So, fortune favors the bold. Got 2000 rounds for the price of 1000. God favors the charitable, so some is going to my sister, some to my cousin, some to a friend.

This weekend was the tent sale at my (somewhat) lgs, which happened to be near the guy with my ammo. Picked up some rail covers and a Lancer 30 rd clear mag plus some .38.

However...

I asked the guy for. 38 range ammo and .357 mag defensive, HST was all he had he said. Turns out when I get home, it's. 357 SIG. All ammo sales are final. I don't have anything in that caliber, I don't want anything in that caliber, and I don't know anyone who owns one. I actually don't own .357 mag either, I was buying it for a friend.

Anyone in the Chicago area who wants it I'll sell it very cheap. Face to face only.

Good deal, and I'm glad the other guy was honest.
A couple years ago I somehow got $200, worth of .22 airgun slugs.
I'm not that kind of guy amd don't have any of those PCP's that they're intended for if I was so naturally I got them returned.
That's the most money in airgun ammo I've ever seen at one time so that experience was cool.

I have a Kydex IWB holster for my LCP II rimfire coming and a mini rice cooker inbound. I'm making some diet changes brown rice is a healthier carb choice than what I have been eating . My blood sugar was seriously out of wack for a while . I have it going my way now . I have cut Pepsi way back, pasta and white bread are gone potatoes cut back
The little Ruger is pocket size, but I have other stuff in my pocket so I ordered the holster to clip it inside my belt

I ordered the Ultra Fine sticks for the Spyderco Tri-angle Sharpmaker. I was told by a few different people that they weren't really worth getting, but I ordered them anyway.

I finally scored a penn 716 spinfisher, an earlier greenie for less than the later z series reels go for too.
It was only less though because it's missing the medallion and has some significant paint wear on the side plate.
There's almost no paint wear on the rest of the reel though, so I can live with it.
Find a replacement down the line, paint it some color that goes well with the green, or possibly just strip polish and clear coat it the side plate.
That would go well with the bright aluminum spool and crank.

I ordered a cheap little 750ml ultrasonic cleaner.
The magnasonic " jewelry cleaner ".
Hopefully it's just enough to clean pocket knives, 1/4 ratchets, and vintage UL spinning reels while being small enough to be out of the way living on the small hobby workbench.

If I ever find myself wanting more I can get a larger standard sized model for use in the garage.

A crosswind arm screw for the Penn 716 I just got in yesterday.

I could see that the cover plate screw was wrong when I bought it off Ebay so I ordered a replacement for that, and it turns out a previous owner had actually lost the screw for the crosswind used the cover plate screw in it's place ( needs a shoulder to fit the bushing ) and put whatever they had on hand in the cover plate along with a washer.

I knew something was off when the bushing was not centering on the screw which was throwing the reel out of sinc.
For now I just ground down the head of that makeshift cover plate screw and Installed it using a nylon bushing I made, but It'll get the proper screw when it arrives.

I ordered a hybrid steel / ceramic bearing for the Penn 716.
The original bearing seems to be little noisy and I know the reel has much much more to offer.
My Shakespeare 2052EC was a disappointment when I got it a couple years ago, but a 24hr soak in some 50/50 brought the bearing back to life and now it's buttery smooth.
Truly slick as a whistle.

This bearing isn't just sluggish though, it's noisy and I suspect has some corrosion inside.

A fuller workhorse carpet sweeper for use in the hobby room workshop, compact and out of the way quick and easy to use and should be easy to deal with if I accidentally pick up an important screw I had lost.

It was a difficult couple of months and i finally made this step.

I've got a pair of Kowa Genesis 10x33 (Prominar XD) binoculars inbound. They'll have to impress the heck out of me to stay; but most comments seem to indicate they should.
Not nearly as post-worthy, but I've also got a replacement gas cap coming for my mower, lol.

I hate modern gas caps on lawn mowers, they just don't seem to last.

Broke down and ordered the diamond rods for the Spyderco Sharpmaker. I spent too much time today messing with the workaround of propping/fastening @#$% to the existing ceramic rods. I'm over it. They can have my 60 bucks. I don't care anymore. The ultra fine rods turned out to be pretty good, so now let's see how good the diamond ones are.

A couple of Skullerz bump cap inserts.

It's a one size fits most drop in for any baseball cap that turns it into a light duty hard hat.
This will go in my work uniform ball cap.

Finally found an ammo dealer with 20ga steel shot available in 3” and 2 3/4”.
So I currently have shotgun shells on order.
