Jealous as hell! I wanted to go so bad . . . but at the time I was in Atlanta and way too poor. 😪 For several years, I fell asleep every night to "Dark Side of the Moon." That was after my "The World is a Ghetto" period and before my "Joshua Tree" period. Pathetic, huh?

I did get to see them one time, but it was after Waters departure. But it was still terrific. To me, Floyd's primary appeal has always lied in Gilmour's ripping, wailing, screeching, soaring, electric guitar pieces - as exemplified in "Young Lust" and "Confortably Numb.". Without that . . . meh.

*I have fond memories of my Buddy and I hauling a 50-horse New Holland to my Dad's old place (*complete with a front-end loader and 6' Brush Hog), on a 20+5 deckover gooseneck, at Zero-Dark-Thirty, behind a '99 turd-pile F-350 4X4 PowerChoke, after leaving "the Club" at about 0300 hours.


...with the above song blasting on "repeat" on the stereo.
