Buckingham is SUCH a pro. He plays so sweetly and perfectly in front of the audience and never breaks stride on a song which was written to TOTALLY eviscerate him, with her singing at him - yes AT him - like that. What balls.
 
OK, Friday night holiday weekend, so here's a two-fer. My mom and sisters know his sister Kim, but he's never been one of my favorites. Don't dislike him, just didn't care one way or the other. I did like him in the Sling Blade. But this is one of my favorite songs from my youth, and it's been performed by Elvis and Mel Torme and everyone and his brother in between. But I think Yoakam and his band really nail it here. So here goes . . .
