Whatcha listnin to oo oo?

imnsho, Junior Kimbrough never got the recognition he deserved. He should be up there with the best of the old timers. He has a mesmerizing sound.

(I've been fortunate enough to see some of the old guys like Junior Wells, Buddy Guy, B.B. King (a couple of times), back when. )

I think "Delta" 3V must've been spawned at the crossroads of HWY 61 and HWY 49 in Clarksdale, MS. Lord only knows what Nathan had to give up in exchange...

Sonny Boy Williamson (II), is one of my all-time faves.
FYI, I just took up blues harp for the first time since 1973. I've been playing a little each day to build up my lungs and lips. As a long way of saying I like ALL the musicians you named, but my all time fav was Paul Butterfield. In college (maybe 1969), I played his albums so much ( to play along) I wore out my albums.

I saw him at my university in concert. Great band.

I still have a few of my blues harps...Hohner and Lee Oskar.

Geez, this thread is a rabbit hole.

My brother in law finally converted me into a fan and this has been stuck in my head all week.

My wife got me into them and holy cow…
There’s an audio/visual companion on Netflix (if that’s your thing.) with Thom Yorke; Anima.

Really out there but a cool watch for like 15minutes I think. Been awhile since I’ve seen it.
