What'd all you Hogs attend school for?

Got a B-Comm in Business Admin (University of KwaZulu Natal in South Africa) majoring in economics and marketing but had a crazy Prof who insisted that we learnt to code as part of the degree.

I moved to London but no one would hire me at Ad agencies with my bush degree but thank to Prof Diegel, I ended up as a code jockey for call center databases working at the marketing arm of a bank and then at ad agencies.

I used my tech knowledge to make the transition to be a client guy on high tech accounts for advertising/digital agencies (IBM in the mid 90s; Motorola and tons of startups during the dotcom bust). That brought me to Seattle to work on the Microsoft business.

Went to a vocational high school for Drafting and got a BA in Geography UMass Amherst 99 (specializing in Digital Cartography and GIS).

I have a BA degree, a degree in keeping my Big A-- alive. 15+ years U.S, Army, work on the North Slope of Alaska in the oil fields, a Public Safety Officer, and then back to Trade School. Certs in Power Plant Operations and Diesel Mechanic. Working at Beluga Power Plant Alaska.

I know where you work. That picture does not do justice to how remote (and beautiful) Beluga is.

Just got my A.A in 2008, plan on graduating in Fall 2010 with my bachelors in Criminal Justice.

My likely route is a degree in Mech. Engineering, but definitely do some physics work. Might be fun to get a PhD in Physics, though most people crack I've always liked the stuff.

Just to give you an idea about my family.

Common grandfather was a Civil Engineer among other studies.

Oldest male cousin has his degree in Electrical Engineering at Cal Poly Pomona.
Second Oldest male (brothers) is in the Air Force doing the long term route.
Oldest female cousin is going into Physics at Harvey Mudd.
I'm going Physics/Engineering.
Youngest male cousin is going to be some kinda of machinist or metal worker it would seem.
Youngest female cousin, doing something, graduating high school a year early too.

There's something in the blood.

This. Though I'm still looking for a job. If anyone has any leads in central Indiana let me know. Then I'd have more money to give to the Busse family. :)
