I don't know what they called it but it has a Hammer Brand stamp and looks like a moose, or a scout knife, or a multi-tool. Very cool design.

Hey thawk, I don't have the knives with me right now, so I will have to measure them later to make sure. I think they were both 4" frames though.
 
that's a first for me .i've seen cheapies in kits but you've got a real goodie in that leather case.hammer brand was a imperial trademark.i believe nykc used hammerbrand way back there.
 
I saw the "I thought that was a moose?" pop up on another thread and thought, gee, this thread will totally clear up all the misconceptions about mooses and muskrats and Texas jacks and equal end jacks and and and and :D
