What's a moose, dangit? (Or the (un)Official Forum "Why A Duck?" Thread)

Which reminds me, I understand the growing moose population in Canada(mentioned earlier) is causing increased traffic problems AND THAT MAKES ME WONDER how many Geo Metros have hit them. I'm Googlin! :D

Interesting you mentioned that, Kerry, as I was just thinking about this...

...Years ago while traveling through Wyoming I remember coming upon the aftermath of a collision between a Ford Maverick and a moose.

Needless to say the Maverick was totaled and unfortunately so was the Moose. (I believe the occupants survived the encounter. I guess they were lucky they weren't in a Pinto.)

I hear ya, but front and side impacts were ok on those. So, I'm thinkin, if the moose would have been tailgating and the guy in the pinto would have stopped short, he would have been in big trouble. ;)

Ford goodness sake Elliott!

Hey, don't drag me into this confusion! :eek: :)

Well, here's another fine moose you got us into Kerry!! :D :p :D

Now, is it the beer, the buzz from the wafting aroma of moose droppings or is that spelling a bit off? :p

That's how you spell when you are running from a Mooooooooooose!!!

This is kinda weird I just came across a Union Knife Works NYC knife, what I believe is a Cattle Knife Pattern, it's like a big Equal End Jack with two Saber Clip blades, now I'm assumin' by the size, angle and what's left of shape of the blade and with the long nail nick it was the same a the opposin' blade.

Now I see this and I wonder, is a Moose, Texas Jack or a Cattle Knife?

I'm even more confused.:confused::)

You look,you tell me.:D
