Here's a blade that I had HT'd by Peter's even though in hindsight I am not happy with the handle design. I've resigned myself to finishing it and making the most of an amateur design.

Eyelets and molding foam arrived after 3,5 week. ( 1 Week US->PL , 2 weeks Polish Post + Customs )

Molding press made in 15 minutes and first tests :)

I'm starting making sheats for my knives. But at beggining from 2mm black ABS.
But also I need to make flaring dies for visible on photo flaring press.

Stereo Pete. Couldn't you still grind the handle differently? Just be careful to keep the blade cool if you're working up next to it. Who cares if you ruin the temper on the handle anyway. I guess I wouldn't care that much but maybe other people would. Better than having a a knife finished that you don't like if it's fixable now still.

Maybe somebody more experienced will chime in.

Kosa, Your blade design is very classic and really nice looking. That is going to be a great looking knife. Larry

Thanks Larry :)

hey Kosa, where did you get your m390 from? alpha and Texas are out. I haven't called Aldo yet.

Scuba, I buy M390 from Bohler Uddeholm distributor in Mysłowice (Poland). I have only 32km to there :)
I buying Bohler steel like M390 in 400x800mm 4,3mm and 2,3mm sheets.

Thanks Larry :)

Okay Peter... I'll bite... what's the blade strategically place in the upper right of your Scagel tease? It reminds me of an Ochs Tactical Bowie.

Rick -

This is a blade I had previously built up with some fine Thuya burl, but then had an issue with pitting due to tape. I've re-sanded the blade and am now doing it all over again.

The drawer of stuff soon to leave...

Kukri, Bush-Ido and a backwoods cheese cutter type thingy...

My favorite hand sanding block...

The newest/oldest member of the Wildertools team. Circa 1935. We'll see how she fits in...

Rick, I saw one of those machines in the local sewing shop for about 400 bucks and like a chump, I didn't but it! Sigh, if we could turn back time...

I'm continuing to focus on progression, my grinds are getting better! Here's a Japanese style boning knife Honesuki that I am working on.
