For me I have been ruining my fingers hand sanding and then etching blades...

Ran out of paper, so I have a couple more than need some time to get them done.

Well I got my little light box working after buying some clamp lights for it. I'm impressed with how much better my pictures look now.

Also finished up a 1084 hunter. I really like this blade shape and I'm going to start using this one as part of my lineup.

Nick, glad to see you have your reflective coat on! Never can tell when a car is going to come whizzing down... the drive way? ...through your shop? Never mind that! Safety first! Safety always!

Working on a new fighter design.
3/16" A2 5.5" blade OAL 11"

This will be getting a Carbon Fiber kydex slab with an over wrap of black ito cord

Nathan- I guess I'm not too gansta... I had to google that name, because I didn't know who he was. :o LOL

Brian- Those are looking great man!

Shane- great looking utility/hunter! I really like the overall lines and construction. Koa makes everything better. :D Two small things would take it up a notch, IMHO- if you add a bevel to the front end of the scales and move the rear pin back by the lanyard tube. Great knife. :)

Adam- That's a great looking piece, I hope you show it when it's complete.

Safety is job #1!!! ;)

I bought the sweatshirt when I worked at the paper mill the first time around. I can't wear it to work this time, because now they don't allow hoods... so it has been relegated to my shop attire. ;) :)

Thanks Nick, two very good suggestions. I have another one already profiled so I will make the improvements on that one.

After watching Nick Wheeler's hand sanding 101 video a few times and forcing myself to be patient and slow down, I've been able to get a nifty finish on my knives.

Time to stop with the hand sanding and move on to some guards and handles...

Then I just had to do a satin machine finish.

The wispy hamon on that fighter Bowie is sick Brian.

Been working on this little bastard since 10pm last night. I need a nap lol.

Amazing work guys! Ian, that dagger is very impressive, how you managed such crisp grind lines, I hope I one day figure out!

Brian beautiful hamons! (And grinds and sanding etc.)

Shane is that ferric chloride you used for your quench line?

Thanks!
