Pablo,
Those are EXCELLENT! I have always like the Gaucho style knives. What do you mean by Creole? Creole here in the USA means native/mixed peoples. Same thing there in your country?

drywall hanging in the shop maybe just maybe i can get the down stairs finished to the point of moving the heavy stuff in by weeks end

Lucifers cleaver and a kingling chopper! as you can see I've removed the handles already. Gona clean up the chopper and give it a new handle, something more knife shaped and clean it all up. The big bad boy's only getting a new edge and new handles as they broke during removing.. shame but they were manky anyway.

One I'm finishing up in the shop for a client. Not finished yet but close enough to see what it is going to be. Ti frame lock flipper with cpm154 dark stone washed blade.
Chad Nichols mosaic damascus bloster and old stock Westinghouse ivory micarta on the presentation side.

I have been finding that my pictures are not the best. I don't have great lighting and I tend to rush through them. I decided to build a light box on the cheap. It seems like it will work well, but I need some clamp lights to try it out.

I have a 1084 skinner that I am working on, and got a really cool quench line on it from using satanite. I can't wait to try out the light box with the new knife.

That is one beefy looking folder! It reminds me of a Dalibor Bergam knife. Great work!

I've been in the pink lately. For a customer with a family of girls. View attachment 487692

I like them!
IMHO there is nothing wrong with pink. We associate pink with girly/not manly etc, but if you let go of that idea I find it a beautifull colour. Goes well with black.

(my 4yo daughter doesn't want to wear pink anymore because it doesn't look tough)

Just finished up this folding kamisori straight razor. Green stabilized snakeskin sycamore scales courtesy of Mark at burlsource.

This is my first post as paid knifemaker member, so let me show you a knife I finished today, its one of many I'm doing to learn to hollow grind, as I always grind flat.

Its made of D2 (Bohler K110), OAL is 7.6" blade is 3.2" and thickness 5/32", the tang is tapered
Handle in green G10 and alpaca pins

I recently stumbled onto some insulating fire bricks for sale. There were several types and shapes. The idea of a cylindrical forge always sounded right to me. What I have built is not a final configuration, but more a proof of concept for both the use of bricks and the burner I built. The interior of the forge is a little more than 4 inches in diameter and 13 inched deep. I will eventually carve bricks to fit tight against the round bricks and build a frame with skin for the outside. It’s pretty low tech but seems to work well. Jess
