Man, that's a lot of work. I draw filed a hex barrel for a muzzle loader back in 1978. Took me days to get it the way I wanted it. I can only imagine how much work you are doing!Draw filing to clean up stray hammer marks in my bevels.

Josh,
I think that rest flips around so the handles are on the bottomFinally got my disc grinder up and running. Now I need to figure out all the things I can do with it.

ok so here is my entry for my first real attempt at a perfect knife execution vs the mediocre ones I've made to learn from over the last several months
One where I actually had a plan to start with, one where I took my time and didn't feel in a rush to complete and one where I stayed committed to finishing it despite any mistakes along the way.
Jerid Johnson gave me some guidance along the way and was sort of my coach.
This is a copy of a Harvey Dean utility that I own, with a shortened handle, Flat ground with swedge and Paduak handle.
I even worked up the nerve to make a little slip sheath on my own, my first crack at leather
regards
Sweet stuff guys!
Just made these over the weekend!! I made this grinder to be mainly a handle wok grinder and I have a small wheel attachment on it so far.

Beautiful!! Where do you get thong tubes? I can find them but yours look like they have really thin walls which is nice.
Also what finish and belt profession are you using?
Hope you don't mind my asking,
