A good vise is a must, I went through two or three $39.00 Menard's brand vises and finally broke down and bought a Wilton Tradesman 1755, it's an incredible vise, rock solid and worth every penny.I'm feeling some vise envy here

That Starret vise was a gift from my father about 20 years ago he insisted I have it he was very adamant about it back then I didn't have good appreciation of what a visI'm feeling some vise envy here
