I usually bribe her with treats. It at least works for a few minutes.

I swear she loves to lay down right on my sheet of sandpaper and get covered in sawdust

Aw. She's not being bad, she just wants a little attention. She just likes sitting up their in general really. Which is fine with me, but gets in the way sometimes.

Finished up 26 knives today. Nice variety of handle materials a few that were new for me/outside of what I normally use. Most are 8670 high carbon steel but a few W2 knives mixed in.

I do the same on almost all of my chisel ground knives, I always tell people they can adjust how the knife steers by sharpening more or less on the back side

Copper to the rescue! I didn't like how I stamped my name in the ricasso on this one so I made up a little copper thingy to cover it up and hopefully still look good we'll have to see how it looks with my imagined copper guard!

I've always said that the best ideas come when we're trying to correct a mistake
Look this puukko , I have some crazy idea how to make handle ................

But i glue that handle to early , as you see it on picture . I mean before I do something else , I have no idea what i was thinking
So to fix the mistake I came up with this. We'll see tomorrow what will come of it
