with the pinch grip it feels natural, any other grip it feels weird. Since you have the knife pinched before the handle its pretty balanced.

Interesting, you took about an inch of the grip? Would be interested to test it if you want to do a pass around. I always liked you wider and thinner profile of the handle and wondered how it compares to a traditional handle shape. I tend to grip with a thumb or pinch grip, especially any bigger kitchen knife. When you think about it, you will rarely see anyone gripping a large kitchen knife with a hammer grip, unless you are chopping with power.

Yup, exactly what I wrote above.

Not an inch, around 15mm/0.6" but the handle starts "later" in the blade, in the style of a japanese knife, so the actual lenght of the handle is only 90mm/3.5" and thats short for an 8" edge knife

I will use it for a few weeks to see how it feels in real life

About sheath , yes it works very well . It hold knife tight , can not wobble inside .I installed a stop bulge for the guard as protection so that the knife cannot be pushed deeper. When you insert knife in sheath tip of guard constantly rub on that curved part of sheath and it stretch sheath and when guard stop inside ,sheath move back and hold/lock knife tight , you can shake it as much as you want, the knife will not fall out . Because the part is curved, first you feel more resistance and when you pass the middle of the curve it loosens up and then make some nice sound when guard stop on that how should I call it , bulge part? If I explain well what I mean :(

As we have said before, wild boars can be nasty. That is a particularly ugly looking brute!

I am just watching the weather forecast for the US, it seems to me that you have stolen snow and cold from the whole world , you have some crazy weather there right now ?

Yes, most of us are not having fun.......

I'm a bit protected by Lake Michigan. (I'm on the Good side) so we aren't as bad as the rest of the country....... Except last night our power company said to lower our thermostat due to a system failure........ Good timing with arctic temperature s
