Not a great picture, this is the only way I have found to polish S90V post-HT. This one is 61-62 RC. Die maker stones up to 1200 grit using Windex as lubricant, then dry SIC sand paper straight pulls at 1000 grit gives a nice satin finish.

I can't get over how good the rounded spine with the jimping looks. I'm gonna have to steal that, sorry about that:)

Just finished this one up yesterday, hasn't been on the polisher yet, it measures 10" with a 5" ~ also have another blade on my bench that is almost exactly the same size and shape and same weight, that needs a handle - it does have my different stamp, the encircled J stamp, in place of the knifemaker stamp and the cross - this is new leather purchased from napa hide house, it is twice as thick as my last hide purchase and was pre stained - Excalibur brown was the name of the leather and they were having a sale on it too, it turns out it was a great choice - handles and sheaths come out a really rich color brown ....... really good ~

this is the stage where things really start getting interesting! Up til now was trying not to set myself ablaze with titanium sparks, endless flattening and truing and some very careful drilling and reaming. Really looking forward to getting at this tomorrow!

Alright! The final set of slabs in the PRO-TECH Knives Ultimate Custom Titanium TR3 "Dragon Skin" series is ready to ship back for build out! I can't wait to see all three of these assembled and on their table at the California Custom Knife Show in about a week!😁

I finished up a second gunstock with cap lifter secondary. The liners/bolsters are nickel silver, the wood is Siamese Rosewood from Ben, and the shield is mammoth molar. This guy turned out really well (for me).

Your work has always looked good to me, but man, you're really knocking them out of the park these days. I'm not generally a fan of caplifters, and gunstocks are among my least favorite traditional patterns, and yet that is an incredibly appealing knife. Well done.
