Nice nesting and clean cutting on those blades Dave! Good to see the family involvement.

I'm working on a modular convertible ultralight fixed blade, it has heat treated T6-7075 scales and the remainder is Titanium. The blade can be switched around for a screwdriver/prybar/scraper and the pommel can be switched from "knocker" to hidden.

Calling it a beautiful fail and I learned a lot. Got my sori but man it was weird to watch that blade arch its back! I'll try it again when I make my next order from Aldo.
S stacy , you called it. When I was trying to straighten it it failed right at the first set of diviots.

Grind a new tang on it and make a tanto from the blade. Make the tang more of a standard Japanese style. (Not my blades. Image is some by Richard338)

While going through everything getting ready for next weekend I dug out this knife I made last year and never really liked. I reprofiled the blade today and crowned the spine. I like it a little better now but if it comes back home with me I might mess with it a little more.

Beautiful work, especially for your age!

I'm over in Lansing! You should go check out the Great Lakes Rendezvous on July 27th in Wayland. It's put on by Shawn Moulenbelt of 51 Bravo Knives and it was a really good time last year!
