Special request for an extended handle, 3 inch blade and an exposed tang. Test fit of the handler scales before finishing and glue up.

Fitting up an Ulu from a plow share. The antler piece has scratches on it. I’d guess that’s from rubbing off the velvet while the antler hasn’t hardened? Should I swap it for another piece?
