I bought a new Galyean Pro Series, large blue Lahar (#18) last November from True North Knives. It was very rough and gritty to open and I could hear squeaking and rubbing. It wouldn't even deploy with the flipper. So, I emailed Tim and he said send it back, he'd take care of me. I did and I emailed him again after I saw deliverly conformation showed it delivered. He said he'd received it and would get it fixed up and would talk to me soon. I waited until the last of December and started emailing him about it. I've emailed him 6 times now with no response at all and I've tried his phone many times as well. No answer. His last post on his forum here was back in September of last year. I just would like to know about my 475 dollar knife.- It seems impossible for me to find out. I sure wish now I'd returned it where I bought it rather than trying to get Tim to take care of it, as I have 540 dollars in it. (30 dollars shipping from TNK, 15 dollars to Tim, plus 20 dollars cash to him to return it) That's the most I've paid for a knife in my life, and to just have it gone with Tim not responding to my inquiries is not a good feeling.
