What's happening in the David Mary Custom shop?

I don't have a MagnaCut run planned at this time.

you need a David Mary knife.....in any steel he does though...trust me. David doesn't like poor handle designs..and you don't either. you won't regret it....maybe one of the new rivers knife works one, that are still available and ya get free qsp penguin...see post #2034
 
So I have had a few projects on the go in the shop before I got sick a couple weeks ago, and I decided to wait a little longer before working on the giant knife. I like to tie up loose ends, as it were.

I'm waiting to hear back on the axe and also a Busse I am regrinding for the same gentleman. So I continued work on some other knives that I already had started to some degree or another.

Here they they are as of the last wood stove refuel of the night:

Hand sanding and sheaths tomorrow. The bowie is spoken for and the rest are destined for the exchange.

Chronovore Chronovore and I battle back and forth for fun on this site........he is real picky on handles.....but you do a great job on zero hotspots and no rough or sharp angles etc....so figured he'd need one of yours. if he has one then he already knows your designs and skills.

In this next pic is the Busse which I lowered the tip on and installed a zero ground top edge. Waiting on customer's input on geometry before I go up in grit.

Yes, I have a couple of knives from David and a couple more on order. I was also the guy who got that custom green and gray wood laminate ordered. I'm surprised you haven't seen me recommending him in threads where someone is like "I need a good fixed blade for X". :)

Too bad you can't add that material back that someone bit out under the ricasso? hahah. :D

Those choils on almost All their knives keeps me from buying more!!!
