David, got me curious......how long is this ride on the bike, one way?

BTW I hate cold and snow...y'all way tougher than me. id be hugging that wood stove ya got and I'd still be cold. I'm trying to figure out how to get further south to be warmer in the winter. it's cold here to me. 10c right now. that's beach and shorts weather to y'all frozen wastelanders......im wrapped up in layers and the heat on.....

Time spent organizing will be worth it in no time having more room for more projects!
 
Well Mister Monkey, I have been a loose practitioner of portions of the Wim Hof method for going on at least half a decade, now, which includes cold showers, barefoot walks in snow, and various activities outside in the cold without a coat. Not all day every day, mind you, but often enough to have taught my body enhanced thermogenesis and my mind to overcome aversion to cold of the merely uncomfortable variety.

But I was in West Palm Beach during January of 2012, and just breathing deeply was enough to cause glistening beads to pour from my forehead, let alone think of exerting myself. I fled back to Canada where a several months long yearly respite from such torture was assured.

Thank you very much. My father and I built that bench together more than a decade ago. I was just thinking yesterday how much I miss him.

Looks like a good bench that ought to give you a couple more decades from the looks of it. The problem will be finding friends to help you move it when you get a new house with built in shop.

When I was doing kydex I built a 11' x 30" bench, but it was to difficult to take with me when we moved. Now I have no bench and haven't done much kydex in awhile. I have a table in the garage but I can't jump up and down on it. 🥺

Now I need to go measure and build a bench. I should have enough room for an 8' bench if I move things around. I miss my big garage.
 
How about a picture in a proper grip. I can't tell if the swell at the back looks a little big or if it's deceptively perfect...
