Great photo
it seems as though the tip point, and the handle angle all carry the same among the three?
I'd love opinions of the subtle differences from anyone who can compare 2 or more?
I'm quite familiar with the EDChef Mark II (with a guard incorporated into the handle)

Thank you.

Why don't we do all the things you want to do? ;)

Actually, I am planning to take a page out of my friend bikerector bikerector 's book. In his Good Knife Co. sub forum, he started an encyclopedia of all the models he offers, or has offered. I tend to make a lot of one offs, and off the cuffs, so I couldn't possibly include everything, but I do seem to be developing a repertoire of staple models, such as the EDChef, Prevail, and Barax, so when I can put the time into it, I'll set up something like that as well. Before then, I might need to go an a naming spree, since I have a few models that have more descriptions than names, like the ringers, for example.

I was asked to make an EDChef Mark II with a sharp spine and jimping! So that blank is now prepped for heat treatment, and will go out along with the others when I get them ready. The checkering file is only 1/2" wide, so I had to use it in three places, and before, I had a little trouble making them line up properly, unless I only made 1/2" of jimping. Well now I seem to have levelled up in my ability to make the jimping consistent, even if I need an inch and a half of it.

I ground and satin finished a blank in hardened 8670 that I am tempted to call the Super Seax, or Power Seax. It is near zero ground convex geometry, and will be an absolute powerhouse in the woods. Super excited for this one.

I ground and satin finished five of my hardened small pocket fixed blade blanks in 8670, and also prepped and assembled the scales for them. They are now curing, and I hope to finish them up Monday in time to hit the Maker's Market Monday evening.

Lots of variety there. a Blue G10 sheepsfoot, a desert ironwood and green wood clip point with orange G10 liners, a simple sheepsfoot with maple scales, a black paper Micarta broad wharncliffe with thin green liners, and a drop point with Burlap Micarta, and double green and brown liners.

I modified my R&D EDC knife. I just wanted it more pointy, and also the handle a bit less blocky. Its sheath is now a little too big, but I don't mind. It still fits with perfect retention and no discernible rattle on the belt.

Hmm....I seldom made it that late in the night/morning at a bar.
On a game show I saw where a call to a friend for help in answering the question was called a Lifeline. The only other "ringer" references I can think of has to do with rigging a competition or horseshoes.

Now I'm putting a final edge on some items before they go up in the Maker's Market.

Honed, photographed, and now all that is left is to record the specs, and post them up. But first I'll post them here, for posterity. Let's start with the one that got away, i.e. the knife that was intercepted before it had a chance to get to the Market.
