What's happening in the David Mary Custom shop?

Approaching home stretch on these four.

Also finally got around to making my “old cement sandbag” which I’ll use for kydex pressing and exercise. Couple layers of duct tape should give it all the durability it needs to be tossed around a bit.

Christy and I just did our daily hill sprints and now I’ll etch my mark onto these using the same home made etching machine I’ve been using since I went full time, and believe it or not the same bottle of electrolyte #94 I’ve been running on since that time as well.

That would be a cool video one day David, to see how that thing etches your stamp onto the blades.
 
Let’s see what I have in the airtight bin… anything that will fit these for sheath molding? Yep, one. The other chefs get bespoke yoga mat/painters tape covers today. The small knife just gets three layers of painters tape per side.
