Those push sticks show evidence of saving your fingers a few times!

Now that I finally cleaned up the mess, this one will be a pair of 4 1/2” x 1” x 3/8” scales consisting of an inner layer of purple heart, a central layer of padauk and an outer layer of green/grey frog wood, which by the way is no longer available to anyone as the company has stopped all production.

So glad that I got me some of that green/grey Frogwood before it was all gone! Tantosaurus Rex suspects that the Tyrannosaurus was also green/grey, maybe?

DymaLux looks very similar. They have a variety of colorings that look tempting..... Not sure how well it works?

Dymalux is fine. But it feels like wax. Frogwood feels like wood.

It's a shame, that green/gray frogwood would have looked perfect on my magnacut wharnificent. Maybe you'll still have some once my turn comes up. A man can dream lol

Contoured and textured African wenge. I think it’s pretty sweet and will look even better with some mineral oil to make the grain pop.

Also needs oil, as it’s just starting to dry from hand sanding and doesn’t show the grain properly yet.
