Working on this one while I await a few replies from others.

Gorilla super glue is only water resistant, not water proof. The Gorilla glue white is water proof, but takes half an hour to cure which can allow parts to shift. So on a build like this the solution is to use the super glue for only one teeny little job. The rest gets done with white, meaning that the handle is waterproof for all practical purposes.

In all seriousness though, thank you for the kind words. And believe it or not the Military was not even a thought in my mind when I came up with the knife. I actually designed the Midnighter Fighter on cardboard one night and the off cut piece ended up being the Tanto of Opportunity. This is the Tanto of Opportunity with the subtip removed, aka the Flip Point. But yes, very much like the Millie.
