Power has been out for a bit here. What I have heard so far is there was a police chase, and the suspect hit a transmission line then crashed into a building. So for now I play outside until the power comes back on.

Wild Willie I will show you how high tech and advanced my arborologistry is. This is not a silky saw or something like that, but it was a kind gift from bikerector . I do like it very much, it works quite well. And I know my saw technique looks weak, but it's partly because I didn't have great leverage up there. Video will probably be a while uploading, but Vimeo provides the link before upload is finished. I'm going to the shop now.

Also interesting story: I had purchased a ton of steel drinking straws for knife handle tubes. But they were sized just a bit off from all my drills so I just tucked them away for a while. Finally remembered to order some 6 mm drill bits and now I have a few hundred knives worth of steel tubes I can actually use.
