Just because I’m not a total idiot doesn’t mean I can’t do stupid things. Sometimes. Maybe that’s why God invented cayenne pepper.

I had no idear cayenne stopped bleeding reduced pain and kills bacteria...among other benefits. just got done reading about it. good info David. learned something new today......I guess I should actually explain what happened!
Okay so, the old garage the shop is in has 2x4 crossbeams overhead, and Chris keeps stuff in there, like lumber, some piping, etc. At the front of the shop, just past the crossbeams, there is one log as well for some unknown reason. Probably been there for thirty years.
Anyway I use the dremel, I stand in a spot by my vise, where I have screwed a foot pedal to the side of my bench, which activates the dremel so I can hold the dremel flex shaft in one hand, and the workpiece in the other. Well the log is right above that spot, so for the past two years whenever I dremel I have to hunch over.
Chris popped into the shop today and because I spent a whole shop day using the dremel recently, which kind made me a little stiff and achy, I asked him if he minded me removing the log. We both noted it wasn't really supporting any weight from anything up there as it was all resting on the 2x4s, and the log was a couple inches lower. So he stuck around a couple minutes, while I hand sawed the log and helped me get it outta there, which resulted in a ton of dust falling onto the bench, as can be seen in the pic.
Well, momentarily stupid me, I forgot the knife was in the vise when I set about vacuuming up the dust, and as I reached the nozzle in behind the vise and pulled it back, I karate chopped the unyielding tip of an Empire Outfitters Mini Insomniac. Resulting in the need to pack the relatively deep gash with cayenne pepper. It stopped the bleeding so well I was able to do this after work:
There is always room for improvement! 💪🏼
Well, I tried and found another goal to work on; volume. Tried to see if I could do 20x5 pull-ups. Nope. Only managed 20 for the first 2 sets. Then it was 14, 13 and 12, for a total of 79 reps in 5 sets with bodyweight. One more rep than 2 weeks ago. So the goal is to see how long it takes to...www.bladeforums.com
