  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What's happening in the David Mary Custom shop?

Full disclosure, I am actually tagging him here to see if he gets the notification since he seems to be having notification issues. I don't actually expect him to spend 49 million dollars on squarey sumo jitsus..... but he is welcome to. :)

I’ve staged a photo for you my friends.

As you can see the groundwork was laid today for some interesting ideas. TeenyChef and Arcolinea chef knife with blue canvas micarta, stainless pics and colored liners. Ignore the sharpie mark on the chef, that was a different idea.

Wharnanimous with suretouch and Hudson Bay with suretouch. Those two are extra special for reasons that will be more clear once I shape the handles.

Also because I was given creative licence with a generous cost cap on those two, I will be cutting a channel on the inside of the scales as well, hollowing the handle basically, to provide maximum weight reduction. And since these are all for the same gentleman, I’m going to extend that to the two kitchen knives as well at no extra cost, as a small thank you for the generous order.

I'm going to make myself vulnerable here guys, and admit something to you. Please don't judge me as a snowflake for this, or think me less manly, but:

I miss Gator 😢

David, have you ever considered reblades? Your comment in another thread regarding the Talwar brought it to mind.
