What's happening in the David Mary Custom shop?

I'm really liking how the royal blue in your handles pops.

At first I was all excited at the right hand end handle, thinking it was two darker-and-lighter shades of blue micarta chunks with a scallop shaped joint where they are epoxied together. 🤩 Closer inspection showed it's just an area of wetness on the blade end of a mono-color handle. 😢

ETA: Beautiful blades nonetheless!!! Always happy to see what you've come up with.

el gigantor el gigantor I haven’t received your email yet big fella.

But I’m ready to serve you, as can be seen in this before and after, of sorts, for one I just did for another gentleman. All that’s left to do is regrind makers mark, and then bring it home for a ceramic rod honing and to have a detent ramp installed.

How come handles before bevels?
I'm not sure I noticed that before with you

I'm almost the opposite, I get worried about not being able to get true edges, that I practically Sharpen my edge before glueing scales.

Although I waste tape when doing handle shaping, so I see that as an advantage
