  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What's happening in the David Mary Custom shop?

👋 i’m the bloke across the pond, gave david full creative licence on this and as usual he exceeds my expectations visually. I’ve never had a knife that incorporated raffir heat wave as a handle material before so i’m intrigued.

It’s always a pleasure to serve you Corey!

I had forgotten until yesterday that this week is the vigil of All Saints (today, a fasting day for me), and All Saints Day (tomorrow, a holy day of obligation, ie no servile works, buying, or selling), hence the extra long day at the shop yesterday and postal run today.

Brought home more weight worth of food for the cat than for myself. 🤣

Hey david, do you have any recommendations for belt loops to attach to the sheath? there’s lots of options i’ve seen online and im not quite sure what to go for

Before shipping today, I put some cord on your sheath that will suit belt carry. You won't need a clip. But if you decide a clip is better for you, the cord will come off easily enough, and the hole spacing should allow you to use just about any clip you choose. The basketweave Holstex I used for your sheath in stock is a little thinner than the .08" Boltaron I normally use, so the retention isn't white knucke. I recommend vertical carry with the handle pointing up, rather than upside down carry (like on a pack, or CMFTW carry), as running or jumping may jostle it enough to come out of the sheath.

Here is a simple loop from silicone impregnated nylon. Flexible but holds form. Cheap and easy.
